If you’re looking for a comfortable rocking chair, this is it.  This is fully upholstered, it has a soft padded cushion to sit on, a padded backrest and plush pink checkered armrests as well.   The backrest has dragonflies and stars on it and that coupled with the pinkish red arms make it seem as more geared towards a little girl, although I suppose a boy could use it as well.

This is made of great quality material and if you have a little girl, she will love to rock back and forth on this while reading books or playing with her dolls.  By the way, this got 5/5 stars from 5 reviewers on Amazon and costs $102.47.

2.  Guidecraft Houston Astros Rocking Chair

If you’ve got a little guy, this is a rocking chair more geared towards him.  This one in particular sports the “Astros” sports team on the backrest of the chair as well as the seat of the chair, this is officially licensed Major League Baseball furniture.  This is hand carved and painted, is 12”W x 23”D x 29”H and weighs in at 18 pounds. 

The chair is easy to assemble and is quite sturdy, it’s also only $37.03.

3. Guidecraft Kid’s Red Rocker Table and 2-Chair Set

Here’s a good set if you’ve got 2 kids.  This comes with 2 rocking chairs made of birch ply and red cloth for the seats.  They also come with a small table which can be used to place books on or possibly a drink.    For $74.36, this is a great option if you have more than 1 kid and you want them to both have a chair to sit on and not fight over one.
